B Sheep has been in the world of illustration, design and animation for almost twenty years. A Venezuelan living in Mexico, he has been drawing since he was a child, mainly under the influence of his father -a mathematics and physics teacher- who taught him to paint in oils.
B Sheep's illustrations come from an aesthetic interest in the forties, fifties and sixties, and also from a great attraction to surrealism as a bridge between wakefulness and dreams and the unconscious. In his last stage of production, B Sheep's pieces have a universe influenced by artists such as Edward Hopper, René Magritte, David Hockney and Remedios Varo.

B Sheep lleva casi veinte años en el mundo de la ilustración, diseño y animación. Venezolano radicado en México, dibuja desde pequeño sobre todo por influencia de su padre -profesor de matemáticas y física- quien le enseñó a pintar al óleo.
Las ilustraciones de B Sheep vienen de un interés estético por las décadas de los cuarenta, cincuenta y sesenta, y también por una gran atracción hacia el surrealismo como puente entre la vigilia y los sueños y el inconsciente. En su última etapa de producción, las piezas de B Sheep tienen un universo influenciado por artistas como Edward Hopper, René Magritte, David Hockney y Remedios Varo.

In this collection B Sheep reflects her life as a migrant and the changes that are faced when changing countries: uncertainties, future, new dreams and so on.
“The suitcase for me means all the things I have kept, both emotional and situations lived with my family: cycles that I have been closing, altars that for many years I admired and now fall apart, it also represents knowing how to be waiting for me to move to another place and start again”.

“La maleta para mí significa todas las cosas que he guardado, tanto emocionales como de situaciones vividas junto a mi familia: ciclos que he ido cerrando, altares que muchos años admiré y ahora se caen a pedazos, también representa saber estar a la espera de que pueda moverme a otro lugar y volver a comenzar”.
