Mr. Tronch is the artistic name of André Coronado, one of the most groundbreaking and multidisciplinary Peruvian artists of recent years. Self-taught thanks to the Internet, as he himself defines in his Linkedin profile, a profile he still maintains to keep his CV intact and free of work experience and studies.
 He does what he pleases in digital media. He is an artist of few words, maybe that's why he creates and animates without stopping, in this way his works that weave a discourse saving him words.
 His style is influenced by the caricatures of the 90s and experimentation with various digital media. His passion for music has led him to work on animated music videos for various bands and music groups.

 Hace lo que le place en medios digitales. Es un artista de pocas palabras, quizá por eso crea y anima sin parar, de esta manera son sus obras las que hilvanan un discurso ahorrándole palabras.
 Su estilo está influenciado por las caricaturas de los 90s y la experimentación con diversos medios digitales. Su pasión por la música lo ha llevado a trabajar en videos musicales animados para diversas bandas y grupos de música.

Quizá sean los memes más bellos vistos en mucho tiempo, pero proyecta, en sus loops, el hate y la superficialidad que impera en las redes sociales. Una sensación perpetua que cala hondo.

EVOLUCIÓN EN EL TRAZO

Lejos del lamento, admite que tener como referencias a Basquiat, Picasso o el manga y el anime, ahí es nada la mezcla. A toro pasado, resulta innegable que existen ciertas reminiscencias de tales referentes en sus obras, en esos personajes antropomórficos desdibujados, alterados y severamente perturbados.

DE BASQUIAT AL ÁNIME JAPONÉS

En cierta manera, sus loops revelan que, al final del camino y una vez despojados de nuestro disfraces de seres civilizados, sigue existiendo una bestia. La obra de Mr. Tronch expone tras su apariencia inocente, la cruda realidad que supone enfrentarse día tras día a una sociedad despótica y enferma. Nosotros la llamamos vida, Mr. Tronch la prefiere llamar Loop.
